Free from perfume, chemical dyes and chemical preservatives which are the top three skin sensitisers making it the perfect option if you have sensitive skin.

A calming , tonifying, strengthening, vaso-constrictive, decongestive treament.  Designed to reduce redness that is associated with sensitive or rosacea skins. Includes infusions of centella asiatica and  cypress which are both vein tonics and stimulants, sea salt extracts to remineralise, and broom and horsetail to tone capillary walls. The decongesting action of this treatment is reinforced with the hydrating, cooling and purifying masque.

It is an incredibly stimulating treatment incorporating heat, cooling and constricting properties. Instantly boosting  hydration levels toning and clarifying your skin using the simultaneous application of amino acids, heat inducing cinnamon and the cooling herbal extracts of lemon, sage and clove.  The masque is toning and firms the skin it's enriched with the goodness of amino acids,  mint, lavender and balancing Ylang Ylang. The ultimate facial for fighting against the aging process.  With numerous ingredients including the vitamins A, B, C and E and 14 mineral salts, 16 amino acids and a special patented wheat protien ( ceveble) that has been proven in lab tests to preserve the integrity of collagen and elastin fibres, to smooth the skin and its powerful actions in slowing the aging process. Rich in hylauronic acid which assists in moisture retention which  plumps, smooths and hydrates skin.  As a first, Phyts has utilised hylauronic acid sourced from vegietable origins extracted from wheat and corn.  Hylauronic acid is a molecule naturally found in our tissues which captures and holds water.  Its structure enables it to retain up to 20 times it weight in water working much like a biological sponge.  If you have a courseof 6 treatments with one treatment per week, you will see your skin recover its radience and suppleness before your eyes.

Acupuncture Session

Teri Stout 60 minutes $60

On a weekly basis Teri is at the clinic. She has a background in nursing and social work both in New Zealand and the UK and has been practising acupuncture since 1998. Teri gained her diploma in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2001 at the NZ School of Acupuncture and TCM.

Traditional Chinese Medicine has been practised and developed over thousands of years, dating back to 21st century BC. The human body is treated as a whole system and the purpose is to balance this system as imbalances are what are believed to cause illness. Acupuncture is working from the inside out. It can help with many problems ranging from acute or chronic pain, boosting the immune system, assist with emotional imbalances, promotes hormonal balance, improves circulation and can help elevate energy levels. It can be used alongside conventional medicine with acute or chronic disease.

In an hour appointment Teri will assess your health status. Depending on her findings she can utilise various different Chinese modalities including acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, and/or Chinese herbal remedies to get the best results. Sessions usually run for an hour and follow up treatments are usually requires to get the full benefits and you will be informed of this in your visit.
